Have you forgot your SAP Universal ID account password? 

Don’t worry, follow the below steps and everything will be sorted out. 

Let’s start… 

  • Go to SAP for Me: https://me.sap.com  

  • Click ‘Sign In 

  • Enter the SAP Universal ID email address. Do NOT click the "Forgot password?" link on this screen (it would reset the S / P-user ID password not the Universal ID one) 

  • Click ‘Continue 





  • Click ‘Forgot password? 





  • Enter the SAP Universal ID email address and click ‘Send 





  • For your information the provided email address will be displayed 





  • When you receive the email, click on the ‘Reset your password’ link or copy the provided link and paste into a browser. NOTE: The link expires within 2 hours. 

  • Create a new password and make sure that the password has a minimum of 8 characters and includes 3 of the following: 

    • Lowercase letters 

    • Uppercase letters 

    • Number [0-9] 

    • Symbols [!@#^&*()+_,.{}?-] 



  • Click ‘Save 





  • Your password has been successfully reset 





  • You will receive a confirmation e-mail 


 

 

Change Universal ID password in the SAP Universal ID Account Manager: 

If instead you just want to change your SAP Universal ID password, please have a look at the following steps: 

  • Go to the SAP Universal ID Account Manager at https://account.sap.com 

  • Enter your Universal ID e-mail address 

  • Click ‘Next’ 





  • Enter your SAP Universal ID password 

  • Click on ‘Sign in’ 





  • Go to ‘Security & Login’ 





  • Click on ‘Edit’ 





  • Enter your current password 

  • Create a new password and make sure that the password has a minimum of 8 characters and includes 3 of the following: 

    • Lowercase letters 

    • Uppercase letters 

    • Number [0-9] 

    • Symbols [!@#^&*()+_,.{}?-] 



  • Repeat the password 

  • Click on ‘Save 





  • You will receive a confirmation e-mail
