On September 15, 2022, we hosted the virtual SAP MaxAttention Innovation workshop covering SAP S/4HANA Finance and Central Finance future Innovation topics such as Universal Parallel Accounting and Organizational Flexibility. We have also covered some of the recently released innovations in Treasury Management, Parallel valuations, Intercompany processes, and Central Finance. Another important topic we covered is an available service to help customers to migrate from the Accounts Based Approach to Parallel Ledgers.
The speakers from S/4HANA Product Engineering and SAP MaxAttention Center of Expertise teams contributed to this event. The workshop offered an interactive platform for SAP MaxAttention customers to learn how the SAP S/4HANA Finance innovations can improve and automate the Finance processes and reduce the cost of operations.
The event started with Dr. Jens Baumann providing the product vision. He elaborated on the evolution of the finance transformation and some of increasingly important drivers for the success of the enterprises.
Dr. Jens Baumann also explained that innovation is more than ever critical for our customer’s success. In the Finance area there are several key innovations that can help you to improve business processes, reduce manual effort, provide business insights, which are all important factors for your business success. The product is going in the direction of real-time and predictive insights which is enabled by a more efficient and simplified data model in SAP S/4HANA.
Enterprises need the agility to adopt new business models, gain efficiencies and transform mission-critical systems to drive sustainable growth. The sessions that followed the product roadmap were all focused on providing an overview of the recent innovations and how they can help the adoption of the new business models. During the sessions the experts have presented the topic and addressed several questions from the participants. We had great interest and participation and all the content is recorded for your consumption.
