Then, the definition was any interaction in the process that includes the “paying customer.” However, I think what the customer-experience community refers to as a touchpoint is probably closer to what Normann called the MOT.

After a few months, there were only a handful of posts in our forums and a few blog articles from of our leadership when I walked through the door later that year. From its inception, Lithium worked with huge brands, and so their huge communities were wildly successful. The extremely small Lithium team back then (less than 20 people!)
